Hey guys

  • Apr. 21st, 2009 at 4:04 PM

Hey guys...well normally I wouldn't post another entry so soon, but my brother-in-law sent me an email with a link to something. Before I give the link, I should probably mention that it involves animal cruelty so if you get sick easy please don't watch it. Another thing I should mention is that it's an investigation by PETA, which is an organization that doesn't always tell the truth and sometimes doesn't even follow what they preach.  That doesn't mean that I don't believe this happens, which I'm sure it does.  I'm against animal cruelty, so I thought I'd post the link. So yeah, here it is.

Love ya guys, and talk more soon^_^

I missed you guys ^_^

Hey guys^_^. Ah it feels nice having my internet back. If you happen to wonder where I was for so long, I'll have to tell you this nice little story.  You see, I switched roommates over the holidays, mostly because one of them was a...not so nice word that I don't really wanna say^^;.  So yeah, I was going to switch all the bills to my name when I could right? So I went to the internet place to look at a price list to see how much it would cost for when I had the time and money to pay the deposit.  Well, my roommate said she'd turn it off sometime the next week, and I could turn it on the next day.  So, on a Friday, I went to get the price list. I happen to be talking to her, so I mentioned this.  She said something like "Oh okay, I guess I'll turn it off on the way home, and you can turn it back on on Monday."  I was a little confused, but yeah.  Then I realized I wouldn't be able to even go up there again till Tuesday, and I sent her a text to tell her that.  She never answered, and when I got home from a really long night at work, the net was already off.  I'm really not sure how me looking at price lists translated into "Oh turn off the internet now please." But that's where the long time away began.  Then, I had some issues with the internet company and them not taking anything but a utility bill or lease agreement before they'd turn it on.  Now, I don't know about anyone else, but I would never put a bill in my name if I wasn't actually living somewhere. I'm not really that fond of paying for something if I'm not using it.

Sooo yeah, that's where I've been :P. I have a new roommate now until July.  I work with this one, so it shouldn't be too much trouble. The kitty has her room back, and the dog, who for some reason has gotten into barking at the slightest noise outside, is downstairs.  And I'm looking into colleges...mostly online ones at the moment.  It's going okay so far, but I would love it if you could learn Marine Biology online.  The nearest school for that from where I'm moving is about 2 and a half hours away from the looking I've done so far.

Now there was something else I wanted to say....but I don't have a clue what it was :P.  Anyway, I'll go watch the shows now^_^. Although I should be calling Metrocast and asking why the heck my roommate and I can't be online at the same time^^;;. I really don't like talking on phones :(. It's easier talking to someone when you can see their face. Don't know why. It's great to be back and connected with the world again though^_^. Missed ya and love ya guys:D.

Questions...and stuff^^;;.

  • Oct. 8th, 2008 at 12:43 AM

Well since I asked Para the three questions, I'm supposed to post this here. I don't think I'll get too many :P, but I have to finish the thing I guess^_^.

"I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want (though I reserve the right to not answer or to answer evasively). Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including me) to ask you anything."

So yeah there ya go^^;;. I find it amusing that when the lights go out at Subway the customers get really quiet.  I guess school must have taught them well.

Gee I love to ramble don't I ? :P

  • Sep. 30th, 2008 at 12:49 PM

I'm so far behind on my shows. It's not fair...why can't I stay mad at my friend for getting that trojan on my computer :P ? I can never stay mad. It's so not fair^^;;.  Ah well, my computer works now, drivers and all, so I'm happy.

Yesasia told me about a couple CDs I want.  Sitting on my hands trying not to buy them^^;;.  I really don't need to spend more money, but it's music :P .  It's just as bad as books.

Oh and I've started a second writing class.  This one is for children and young adult writing.  I have an assignment for my first class due in the middle of October too.  I should probably get started on that^^;;.

I finished watching Special A. Man was that ending impossible. Sitting on the clock tower thing, something goes flying off the side and she goes for it.  It would be completely impossible for him to stop her.  Crap that was a spoiler.  Hopefully everyone's finished watching it if they were gonna watch it^^;;.

I've been watching lots of dramas...subbed by groups that have lives apparently :P .  It takes awhile, but the shows and the fansubbers work is definitely worth it.  They do a really good job with the translations, so I have no problem waiting.  I just like watching the show, so sometimes I get impatient :P.  Although, when they do release it, I forget all about that, and I'm like "OHHH NEW EPPY SOO COOL  !!!". It's sad really^^;;.

Anyway, hope everyone's fall is going well.  It's supposed to cool down around here today.  It's gonna be in the...I think my dad heard 40's.  Oh and I went to the debate. Don't let anyone fool you. Obama kicked the crap outta McCain.  McCain said a whole bunch of long-winded nothing and insults, while Obama said a few insults but actually said something too. It was cool.  They had a tv screen set up for people to watch.  I had fun...and I might've made fun of the candidates just a bit^^;;.  Obama needs to work on his pronunciation of Taliban and Pakistan, and McCain needs to work...on not putting me to sleep^^;;.  But yeah, hope everyone has a great week, and weekend.  Enjoy the fact that Fall is coming^_^....well if you like cooler weather.  I think my favorite season is Spring.  But yeah, love ya guys^_^.  Remember to learn something at school :P .

I just love computers. Don't you? You see my computer was running all nice and fine. I was happy...had sound and I could watch the shows I like. Well, ya see, I decided that I'd let someone use it for a bit, considering he was letting me borrow Final Fantasy 7(yes I believe that game is worth it :P).  So yeah, he's on there, and he goes to this site cause he wanted to look up some FF7 stuff while he was waiting on his poker tournament to start. Then, the computer....decides to slow down and not open anything.  He tells me, and I tell him to beat this fight for me while I try to figure it out. I run an Ad-aware scan and a virus scan.....you wouldn't believe how much stuff it found. Once it popped up with the first virus threat I turned and said "You got a freakin' trojan on my computer."

So yeah, then my brother, me, and our friend spent the next two days trying to get the virus scan to actually get the thing off. I eventually called my brother-in-law, who I'd trust with any computer problem, and he told me about a site that would do a virus scan for me and get pretty much anything off of the computer.  So, I went there, and I tried running it, having to hit the keyboard or move the mouse every 15 minutes or so or the thing would go to this blue screen and the computer would slow down pretty much completely.  Eventually, I noticed that the thing was messing up so badly that the virus scan was scanning the same files every time I woke it up.  So, I called my brother-in-law again, and he told me how to repair the computer before I tried to reinstall windows.  It would've worked too...if the stupid computer didn't decide it wanted to have a system error-_-;;. So yes, I've reinstalled windows.  Sadly, I have no drivers running at the moment really besides the internet.  We're having small problems convincing the computer that we actually went and found the drivers.  Yeah, so eventually my computer will be up and running completely, but for now it's tempararily fixed....I think I spelled that wrong but LJ says I didn't so I'll leave it.  Anyway,  eventually my roommate who's a techie says he'll fix it. Sadly, it takes him forever to get around to doing anything, so that might take awhile.

So then, now that you guys know how my week has gone....how's your's been :P ?

I did get to have fun on the last day of summer though.  I even got to drive a boat.  I did pretty good even with someone backseat driving. Didn't hit a thing.  Which is weird cause the one who was backseat driving(my stepdad) well...me and my mom were sitting at the front of the boat. Nice breeze on a beautiful day.  We saw a buoy coming.  I turned around and mentioned it then turned back....we were still heading towards the thing so me and my mom tried saying something.  We STILL were heading straight for it.  After we sat there and yelled "BUOY BUOY BUOY!!!" about ten times....my stepdad rams right into the darn thing.  This wasn't a small buoy either.  It was a nice fat one.....and then they were all like "Well why didn't you say something?".  Let's just say me and my mom, being the only females, made fun of the guys just a bit after that one :P .

I also was able to buy a new manga called I wish... by Hyun-Joo Seo. Technically, it's a manhwa but either way.  It's really good.  I've only got the first volume, that being the only volume out, but I'm enjoying it so far.  If you guys are wondering which manga to start, I'd recommend that one.

I got to see my daddy too. Watched a movie with him, and I was able to pick up some movies and games that I had forgotten at his place when I moved.

So that's how the last day of my summer went.  Traveled all across northern Mississippi. It was fun, and apparently my coworker thought I looked happier the next day.  It might've been being on the water, since that's my favorite thing to do :P. I'm such a bad air sign example^^;;.  It might also be because my grandma, aunt, sister, nephews, brother-in-law, and maybe one of my cousins will be coming down/up/over all on the same weekend.  My manager says he's gonna try to give me the time off. If he doesn't, I'll be just a bit annoyed with him since I rarely ask for time off and everyone else asks for tons and they always get the time. I'm always the one who has to take up the slack from it too -_-;;. I think I deserve it, don't you^_^?

Anyway, I suppose I've rambled enough.  I have to go to work in an hour, and I've barely moved.  So I guess I'll ramble some more next time^_^.  Hope everyone has a great week.  Fall is finally here.  The weather where I live has been beautiful.  It actually feels like September in Mississippi is supposed to...which is a little warmer than most of the rest of the country^^;;.  Anyway, love ya guys^_^.

I scare my manager^^;;

  • Sep. 14th, 2008 at 10:55 AM

Hmm where to start today :P? Let's see, I suppose I'll start with something humorous....like my manager being scared of me^_^. You see football season has started, and I live in a college town.  A couple weeks ago, we had a really busy week(that's why I didn't enjoy my Labor Day) because it was a home game.  It was a game at night, but we only had two people. It was horrible.  So anyway, we had another home game yesterday. When my manager first made the schedule, he, yet again, decided to only schedule two people for a night game.  Let's just say I was more than a little irritated.  I was a little...pissy when I saw the schedule.  So the next day, one of my coworkers happened to mention how annoyed I was.  I come to find out when I came in that he told one of the people he had scheduled in the morning that we had a scheduling problem, he needed her to work at night cause I was mad at him :P.  So long story short, my manager changed the schedule cause I was mad^^;;....oh and then wanted someone to hold me back when he showed me this next week's schedule where I work two split shifts.  Two people just quit though, so I was fine with it :P.  So yeah....my manager is scared of me...I's gots power^_^.

Another thing that I feel like talking about is the election thing in November.  I happen to be looking at a few sites, and I've realized something.  Palin is not someone I'd vote for.  I think I'll just post a link to a site I found since this would be too long of an explanation.

http://womenagainstsarahpalin.blogspot.com/

So yeah, I REALLY don't like this woman....Although, that might be because I'm a bit of a feminist^^;;.

Anyway, now that the serious stuff is out of the way, I've started on my fifth assignment.  It seems a bit harder, but it looks like I'll enjoy it^_^. Although, now that you guys know about my fangirl-y side, you probably know one of the many reasons I get so distracted from actually doing said assignments^^;;. I think the dramas and animes are way too addicting for me :P.  At least the music helps me think.  Luckily, I have till October 15th to do that assignment.  (and I might be exaggerating my distractedness just a bit so I can say I'm not procrastinating^^;;).

Speaking of dramas,  I have finally found one that I disliked so much I had to skip to the end.  I will never be able to recommend this drama to anyone, although I do encourage people to form their own opinions.  It's a Korean drama called "Que Sera Sera".  From the first episode,  I couldn't stand a single one of the characters.  If there was ever an Asian drama to compare to an American soap opera, this is the one.  The story made no sense, and the pairing getting together was drawn out way too long.  It seemed all they went through in the drama was just a way to break the other pairing up.  The guy was entirely too fickle, and I just wanted to hit him with something.  He had no motivation whatsoever to have such a hard time choosing between the two girls, except like I said, to break the other pairing up.  And the girl went from a complete moron to a business genius.  I'm not sure how the heck that happened since I was still trying to figure out how she gets hit with a theater light falling from the ceiling and coming out without a scratch on her.  There is only one thing I liked about this drama.  The music.  It was beautiful. The ending was cute too, I suppose.

So yes, that's how my week has gone :P.  Hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend and a great week.  I'm sure I'll be busy^^;;.  Love ya guys^_^.

I would just like to say before I start this...the fangirling in this post is entirely ParaibaOcean's fault :P. You see...ever since I've talked to her....well there's this side that I usually surpress I guess you could say, that...well..."fangirls" over "hawt Asian guys".  I don't think I'll be able to surpress it very much longer thanks to her.  Love ya anyway, Para :P. So yeah, I promised I would actually do this tag entry.  Although, I won't ask anyone else to do it^^;;.  If you want to go ahead.

1. Name only 10 boys you like.
2. If there is a tie for a number, skip however many numbers it takes to get to the next one.
3. You must state the reason why they're on your top ten list.
4. Tag at least 3 people when you're done.

Ok, since I love guitars and have a thing for Asian guys, we'll skip any mix of the two or my list would get kinda boring :P. I don't know how to add pictures, so please bear with me.  If you wanna help me out with that, I'd appreciate it^^;;.  So anyway, let's start this list, shall we, Para^_^?  I will admit that there is absolutely NO order to this :P.  If you wanna guess the order, I might tell you if you're right :P.

10. Chen Yi/Andy Chen....well...just look at his picture. I'll give you the link.  Then, tell me why he's there :P .
          http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Chen_Yi

9.  Kamenashi Kazuya- well let's see...he amuses me and he loves dogs. What more do I need to say^^;;?

8.  Aiba Masaki- ok this has to be one of the sweetest guys on the planet. Don't believe me? Well just look at this.
    http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-224104/Arashi-Extras-Aiba-Misakis-Letter-English-Subtitles.html
If that doesn't make you tear up at least a little, I wonder about ya^_^.

7. Xiah Junsu- another sweet guy. The only reason he wouldn't be higher is that sadly...his laugh irritates me^^;;.  I feel bad, but I can't help it             :P. But he's sweet and his naiveness and gullibility is just as bad as mine.

6. Yunho- what? you think I'd list a bunch of sweet guys and not have him on there? Besides, I talk to Para...why wouldn't I like him :P ?

5. Taguchi Junnosuke- he's got such a great smile...and I have a soft spot for him since his band mates pick on him so much^^;;

4. Akanishi Jin- wasn't sure if I would add him, him being the main one who picks on Taguchi.  But yeah...he's amusing, cute, knows english :P, and has a constant battle with Matsumoto Jun.

3. Sakurai Sho- he's cute and he seems like a really good friend if you go by how he treats Aiba :P.

2. Ohno Satoshi- well not only is he Arashi's best singer/ dancer  and a really good actor (watch Maou :P), he's also an artist.  he's so adorably spacey it's not even funny :P...and he fights with that one MC on Utaban constantly. the last one I saw he actually slapped him. it amuses me^^;;

1. Hero Jaejoong- sure he's a little on the girly side(he was raised around a ton of sisters), but he's such a sweet guy that I can't help it ^^;;. That and he's got an amazing voice :P

Well, Para, I hope you're happy.  I've just released part of my fangirl side to make this list ^^;;.  There are a few that I would've added if there was more space (do you know how hard it was to cut it down to ten *cries*?).  I suppose I could name a few.  Ming Dao might've gone on there, but he comes off as a bit arrogant at times. Matsumoto Jun might've gone on there I suppose....and Nakamaru Yuichi might've gone on there. What can I say? I've got a soft spot for him since he thinks people don't like him much^^;;.  I suppose Koki and Ueda would've made it too. The rest of DBSK would've made it, (yes including Changmin, Para :P ), if I didn't already have three of them on there^^;;.

And there's a few more that might've....if I could remember their names^^;;.  I'm really bad with names. So yes, now that I've shown my bit of fangirling, I'll hide it in a dark corner...until the next time Para convinces me to let it out to play :P .  Now, that that's out of the way...Hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend(mine was horrible :P). Love ya guys, and good....well....it's 5:30 AM....so morning^^;;. Have a great week^_^.

It's finally over :P

  • Aug. 25th, 2008 at 1:34 AM

Woohoo the Olympics are over. Now, instead of going crazy about controversial calls, we all get to bicker about which count counts :P . For me, I've always counted all the medals but not everyone does apparently.  I didn't know that^^;.  China did get the most gold, so that's great for them^_^.  I'm proud of the US athletes.  They all did wonderful from what I've been able to keep up with...well for the most part^^;;.  Few dropped relays, that kinda stuff.  And I don't care what anyone says. Phelps won his 8 medals without cheating :P.  So yeah, now I wanna visit China even more :P.  Japan and South Korea more than China, but China's moved up on my wish list of places to visit^_^.  Now, my dad just needs to win me the lottery so I can pay off my school bills and run away :P .

My week has gone ok I suppose.  Saturday was really bad for my coworker, so I had to try to make her feel better.  She made it through the night at work, but there's some things I wouldn't be able to help with if I tried.  I'm hoping she's able to move past it soon.

I did get my assignment turned in on time....right down to the wire it was :P. I should probably work on that.  I have a habit of not being able to think of anything to write until the deadline is a few days away.  Heck sometimes at school, I didn't finish writing until an hour before the class^^;.  I'm taking a break for a bit, then I'll work on either my next assignment or my fanfics.

Oh and I only have one more CD to wait for, and it's apparently been shipped.  I just have to sit patiently around waiting for it....with my nice sharp package opener....ok so it's just a key :P ...and hope it gets here soon.  I should probably check on the tracking for that.

Ah and Netflix. Saturday wasn't goin' so well, but I knew that I'd be getting a DVD from Netflix when I got home so it wasn't so bad.  I REALLY wanted to watch this DVD too. So finally work ends, and I get to go home.  I go inside and put my stuff done, get my key out, go to my mailbox, see my nice little DVD all neat and pretty in it's Netflixy package...thing.  Walk upstairs, sit down, and open it....And wouldn't ya know it....the darn DVD has not one...or two cracks in it. It has THREE cracks...not including the ones that connected the darn cracks.  Needless to say, that kinda made an already bad night worse.  Yes it was small, but with the night me and my coworker had, I could've used something to air out :P.  Now, I gotta send it back and they'll send me a new one.  I had to wait on the broken one to get here from Louisiana, which apparently takes forever and a day, so I'm hoping I don't have to wait too long for the next one.

Don't get me wrong now, Netflix is usually pretty good.  But it kinda picked the wrong day not to be :P.

So yeah, hope everyone enjoyed the Olympics.  I'll try to find some place to watch it that doesn't have user comments about "Commys" and "every country hates America" to name a few.  I don't agree with any of these comments, but hey, what can ya do? So...if you're back at school, remember to study :P . Love ya guys^_^.

Well now, I'm having a "great" week.  Let's see there was this really rude lady (very loosely using this term) a few days ago at work.  Basically almost made me lose my temper and get fired. That usually takes a lot unless someone's talking down to me like this person was.  Then my neighbors were loud and obnoxious again.  I went to pull the cord to turn on the light, and I scratched my finger in two places.  So, instead of my great master plan of telling them to STFU :P, I was busy stopping my finger from bleeding.  Then today, I was opening a pack of cheese for the night shift when I sliced right into another finger.  The girl I was working with had to take care of a few people by herself while I took care of that.  And last, but not least, my cat might be sick.  Oh...and I still need to work on that assignment^^;;.  My mood is pretty much shot at the moment :P .   There are worse things in the world though, and I'll be okay as long as I don't decide my other 3 fingers on that hand would make great targets.

I recently went on the youtube, yes I know "big mistake", but I went to see if there was anything involving the Olympics on there since I sadly have no TV.  I had heard about a number of things people are complaining about.  The Chinese women's gymnasts being too young, fake fireworks, lipsynching. Ya know, nothing that's really all that bad.  The fireworks would make sense since they want to give a good show.  The Chinese gymnasts being too young might be true, but the Chinese are naturally shorter than a lot of other countries.  And while I don't like the fact that they wouldn't let the girl sing, I don't see why people are getting so snippy about it.  People lipsynch all the time to put on a good show, and while I would've rather had the girl singing to actually be seen since I think she looks like a sweet and cute little girl, if she is happy just being heard then who am I to argue?  Although, it does put a damper on the lipsynching girl ever trying to have a singing career even if her voice wasn't that bad.  Some people would still accuse her of being fake.  Either way, the kids had no control over it, and neither did the Chinese people.

Which would bring me back to the whole youtube thing.  So I was reading a whole ton of comments on the videos, and man, it's more hating than a freakin' Zutara/Katang ship war.  And that my dears is definitely saying something.  I eventually got sick of people insulting China and the US and pretty much everything under the sun they possibly could about any little thing a country has done wrong even if said country couldn't control it.   Hate to break it to these people but EVERY country has something they aren't exactly proud of.  They can't control what their ancestors did.  They can't control what their government decides to do.  And if I had seen one more comment condemning all of China or saying that Americans did this many bad things, considering the week I had, I probably wouldn't have my pretty little computer any more cause I'd have to take my annoyance out on something^^;;.  (and I just got a DVD drive for it too :P ).   So yeah,  I guess I've learned something about myself....I can't stand stereotypical comments and people assuming an entire people is a certain way just because of one or two people.

I will admit to loving the Chinese culture, partly because one of my best friends is Chinese.  That might be where part of my irritation came from.  She loves her country, and I know she'd be hurt that people would say some of the things they've said about China.  I actually recently read an article in the news about a journalist going to the Sichuan province, ya know...the one hit by that big earthquake a while back?, and he went to this one woman's house to talk to her.  This woman didn't have ANYTHING.  No food or tea or anything to really offer a guest.  The woman STILL wanted to play host even though all she could offer was a glass of water.  That, to me, shows the true heart of the Chinese people.  They may be closed off most of the time, but when you're their guest they do EVERYTHING in their power to make you feel at home.  After reading that article, I almost cried when I saw all the hurtful things people were saying about them on youtube.   This story, though like the journalist said, would never make it into news on CNN or Fox.  It would probably not be considered worthy of people hearing.  We seem to like hearing about the bad things more than the good I suppose.

So yeah, I don't give my opinion on things like this very often.  I wasn't going to really until I went to that site filled with those comments.  And before anyone asks, Yes I'm a freakin' American ^_^.  One of the comments happen to mention how it was only Americans insulting them :P . So anyway,  I'm really excited after hearing that the US got gold AND silver in the women's gymnastics all-around^_^.  They did a great job.

Anyway, hopefully everyone had a better week than me and has a great weekend. Now, I'll go back to trying to ignore those idiotic neighbors who don't know what 1AM means when it shows up on a clock.  Love you guys^_^.

Ahh Music^_^

  • Aug. 5th, 2008 at 8:34 PM

Well the first batch of my CDs from Yesasia came in today.  I have...3 new CDs to listen to and this really cute kitty magnet.   Haven't had a chance to listen to them yet cause I just got off work, but I'm really excited now :P . Although, opening them was a bit of a hassle.  They were wrapped up all nice and safe in this black plastic shipping thing.  When I saw them in the mail, I knew it was my CDs, so I might've...bounced a bit when I was walking back inside^^;;.  Got upstairs and sat down to open them before I left for work......You wouldn't believe how much tape these guys put on there.  I mean I appreciate that they wanted to keep my beautiful little CDs  safe, but it was almost like they didn't want me to...ya know...OPEN them :P .  I finally got them open after using my key a bit, and when I took the CDs out....they were wrapped in a LOT of bubble wrap.

Anyway, Yesasia is a great place to order if you wanna get some Asian music, but remember to have a sharp object so you'll be able to reach said music :P.

Let's see what have I been watching. Well, I finally finished Smiling Pasta.  It had a cute ending, although I wish the side characters had actually said OUT LOUD that they liked each other.  I guess it fit their characters more this way though.  I've gotten halfway through one called Save the Last Dance for Me. I'm watching My Girl and rewatching The Imperial Household/Goong/Princess Hours.  That one has a ton of names. I've gotten to episode...4 of Maou.  It's a darker one than I usually watch, and Ohno is really good at being creepy^_^. Almost done with So I'm Not Handsome with one more episode to go. Gotta catch up on Fated to Love You.  It's one of the more dramatic ones, so I'm spacing out the episodes a lot :P .  There's a few I'm watching that I can't think of until I see their names.  Then there's Wish to See You Again and When It's At Night.  Might've already mentioned them.  Overall, I'd say my favorite one to watch is Maou since it's different from  one's I would normally watch.  Oh and then there's one called Tomorrow that's about a hospital.

As for anime, I'm watching the new Slayers series, Slayers Revolution.  I should probably watch the seasons that I haven't seen first, which is all but the first one^^;;, but I'd have to wait on Netflix or something and I'm impatient when I wanna be :P .  I'm watching the new Zero no Tsukaima season, and I've started watching Blade of the Immortal.  Not sure about that one though.  I've also been watching Amatsuki, and I'm still watching Special A.  Although, I don't really like the music on Special A.  There's a few more I'm thinking about watching, but I'm not sure yet^^;;.

Anyway, now I'm gonna go listen to some music.  Strangely enough, this batch is all the Korean ones I ordered.  Soundtrack of Save the Last Dance, and some DBSK CDs.  The DBSK was an influence from Paraiba :P.  They're really good though.  And the soundtrack has great music on it.  Now, I just gotta sit around and wait on the other two :(.

So yeah, love you guys^_^.  And have a great week.  I know school's starting back soon for some people, so remember to enjoy the last bit of your summer.  Oh, and I posted my first attempts at photography on deviantArt.  I haven't gotten them all up, but it was fun^_^.  Anyway, bye now...time to listen to some music :P .

Avatar and How bout a magic trick :D ?

  • Aug. 2nd, 2008 at 8:39 PM

Heya^_^. Okay soo I finally saw the Avatar series finale.  Sure took me long enough...well Netflix long enough anyway :P . And while I will say that the book didn't do it justice, I didn't really like all of it. Although, watching it during a thunderstorm is pretty creepy, especially when Aang goes all glowy eyed.  Anyway, I suppose I'll start with what I did like about it, then we'll go from there^^;.

Okay, so the music was beautiful.  Then again, the music in Avatar has always been one of my favorite parts.  But the finale had music in it that...well makes you actually  "feel" the scene ya know? If they don't make a soundtrack, they're losing out on a crap load of money.  If I don't buy anything else from Avatar, I would buy the soundtrack without hesitation.

I also loved the action scenes. Sifu Kisu is now my favorite staff member type person.  Without him, they couldn't have pulled all of it off.  The directors also did a great job putting it all down, and for the most part the writers did amazing. I loved the Agni Kai between Zuko and Azula and later Katara and Azula.  I would've loved to see what happened to Azula though. I...really loved the Tokka moments.  Tokka is the only crush they pulled off well in the show in my opinion.  The moment when Toph and Sokka thought they were gonna die was beautiful.  And Suki kicked major butt saving the day.   The animation for the most part was as beautiful as always for most of it.

Now, I suppose you're wondering what part I didn't like...or maybe you don't really care....oh well, I'll tell ya anyway :P . Personally, I didn't like Aang's part of the story.  His character didn't...grow at all.  He didn't have to sacrifice anything at all and got everything he wanted while everyone else had to give something up.  And poor Toph didn't get anything in the end except a background shot of her parents with her according to my friend (I happened to not catch it but yeah^^;; ).  All the past avatars told him to grow up and protect the world and stop being so selfish.  In the end, he couldn't even do that.  Everyone else has changed for the better, and he's still the same selfish kid he's always been.  I loved the lion turtle.  He looked cool.  I did not, however, like the idea of spirit bending.  The entire show they've said how bending is a part of someone and to take it away from them is one of the cruelest things you could do.  It takes away a part of their soul.  In my honest opinion, NO ONE deserves the power to take that away from someone, to take away a part of who that person is.  I will say that in my opinion spirit bending is worse than killing someone for exactly this reason.  And why the heck did Aang trust some creature he's never met instead of his past lives,  even Roku who he's trusted and taken the advice of the entire show?  They didn't say what he wanted to hear, so he went off and found someone who told him exactly what he did want to hear.  In the end, he chose the easy, selfish way.  To me, that is NOT a hero's decision.

The ending also seemed to be just...tacked on there to...well END it.  It's like they got tired of it and just wanted to stop.

In the end, I believe the finale had the potential to be great, different.  But they chose the normal American cartoon ending.  Granted, the parts leading up to the epilogue were better than any American cartoon that I've seen, but the epilogue...was your typical run-of-the-mill ending.  To me, epic is a term used for something original, never seen before.  And while Avatar's ending wasn't bad, I wouldn't give it the description of  "epic."

So yeah, I've got mixed emotions on the finale.  I didn't like the romance either, but I might be slightly biased on that one, so I left my opinion on that one out^^;.  They had so much left they could have done.  My friend, who only watches for story, said they fell short of making it great.  Now, remember, this is just MY opinion.  Not everyone is going to agree with me but not everyone is going to agree.  The writers can't please everyone, and I'd never ask them too.  For the most part, I was happy with the finale.  I was just hoping for something more.........I'd still SOOOOO buy the soundtrack though^_^.

Now...I suppose I'll give my opinion on a great movie.  Called Dark Knight.  Now this, my friends, is something I'd label as almost epic^_^.  It was amazing.  The music was wonderful, and the actors were amazing.  The story was really well written. There is absolutely NOTHING I would change about this movie.  I will admit that I was slightly skeptical on the new Batman movies.  When Dark Knight came out, the main reason I wanted to see it was because it was Heath Ledger's last movie.  I've always thought he did a great job in all of his movies, so I chose to trust that in his last one he would do just as well.  Boy, am I glad I did^_^.

I have always loved the first four Batman movies that I say.  Ya know, the one's that started with Michael Keaton? So I wasn't looking forward to a remake that might destroy them.  Eventually, my friends who like comic books convinced me to go see Dark Knight with them when it came out. First, I'd have to watch Batman Begins though, so I had to borrow it from one of them.  I will admit that I liked the first two more than it.  It wasn't bad, it just...felt like something was missing from it.

Anyway, so it finally came time to watch Dark Knight.  I will say that if you haven't seen it yet, and you're not afraid of having maybe a couple nightmares, you should go watch it as soon as possible.  Not only is the story good, and everything else about the movie as well, but Heath Ledger's Joker is the best Joker ever.  I am not exaggerating.  Even my friends who love comic books will admit to this.  He nailed Joker perfectly.  I don't want to give any of the story away, so I won't be very specific, but seriously, it was amazing.  And for people who did see it....don't you just love his magic trick :P ?

Anyway, that's my two reviews of today.  I'm gonna have to post now before my power goes out, so I can't mention all the new dramas and anime and music I've been watching and listening too, but I will say that I hope everyone has a great weekend^_^.  My week has gone pretty well so far I suppose.  I got to see Avatar, got to ramble about Dark Knight, work hasn't been too irritating, got to post my photos I took on LJ finally. The only thing that could've made it perfect..............was if the darn CDs I ordered from YESASIA would get here already.  Sure I haven't waited THAT long, but still.....I wanna listen to them. This is where I'd put a crying smiley, but sadly they don't work. Anyway, love ya guys^_^.  Happy month of August :D

So yeah...we had a nice little tomato scare recently. Something about Salmonella. Pretty dangerous ya know? Not something you wanna deal with. I find it highly amusing that the Subway customers still got mad that we pulled the tomatoes from the line for their protection just as a precaution since it wasn't our tomatoes. Seriously, apparently people would rather be sick then not have tomatoes. I really don't understand some people^^;.

On another note, I recently got to get out of my hometown for a weekend. That's big for me since I've been stuck in this area for about 2 years. No vacations suck let me tell ya. But yeah, so I went with a couple friends down to Biloxi.  We stopped at Jackson to go shopping. And at another town called Madison. It was great....until we were heading out of Madison. We got about 5 minutes out of that town, and our only driver had a few....stomach issues. We stopped at a gas station where the driver stayed in the bathroom for at least 15 minutes, then we tried to get to our next stop. Sadly, we got about another ten minutes and had to pull over at a Wal-mart. My other friend and I went to get some medicine for him while he went to the bathroom. We waited for him...for about 15 more minutes. Then he called our phones.  We eventually had to ask customer service if they could take the medicine in for him.  Let's just say that was an embarrassing episode all around. The poor customer service girl was at a complete loss for words. We had to ask her for a male employee cause there wasn't any around.  The manager for the customer service finally found a male to take it in their for us, and wouldn't you know it, a bunch of male employees appeared like magic right after. So we got him the medicine, then we waited..........and waited....and waited. Eventually, we had to call my sister and say we would be late. After waiting for about...an hour and a half to two hours. We decided to just get a hotel room.  So we went BACK to customer service and asked for a phone book. My sister called the places for us and looked for stuff online. We had a heck of a time finding anything considering it was Memorial Day weekend. Eventually, one of the customers in customer service gave us some advice on which hotel to pick.  Apparently, there was only one good one. So we booked the room, walked over there(and it's dark already) with the only guy in our small group sick and leaving the car in walmart's parking lot because the reception guy wanted us to hurry up. It was a Holiday Inn and the people were great and helped us out a lot.  This small town was called Forest, and they are some of the nicest people I've met in a lot time. I don't know what we would've done without their help.

Now, after that little episode, we were finally able to head down to Biloxi.  We were going for a graduation, and it took FOREVER to get anywhere near the ceremony.  We ended up missing the person we had come for.  We went back to their house for a BBQ.  I loved meeting all of them. We were going to head back up and stop by my sister's and stay there for the night.....but we got talked into going to see the Hard Rock and one other casino and would've left too late for our driver to feel comfortable driving. So, we stayed their for that night. I'd just like to say that Biloxi has done a wonderful job repairing themselves since the hurricane.  They've definitely come a long way, and hopefully they'll be able to be what they used to be soon.  They're already getting businesses back I believe, and they have a Books-A-Million and that just makes everything perfect. I've also found out that I want to live near water.  Yes, I'm a freakin' Air sign, and I want to live near water^^;;. That would be a zodiac joke...not a very good one, but yeah^^;;. So yeah eventually we were able to see my sister and make it back home in one piece. After a slight problem in Tupelo.  Overall, even though nothing went as planned, I really enjoyed that trip.  It's the most fun I've had in awhile.

Oh, and I had a birthday on the 9th. I'm 23 now(still not a Zuko fangirl :P ). And I'm rather disappointed in the crap of an ending Sozin's Comet gave. Plot holes galore and all that ya know^^;;? Hopefully, the episodes fill in the pieces. Oh...and that stupid interview was annoying, but yeah we're all over it, so please no more fighting. I'm tired of hiding^^;;.

Sadly, I don't have a new entry for the TZA dictionary (sorry Taiyo^^;;), but I'll try to think of something for it next time.

Oh and I've been watching new animes and dramas....and I just blew all of my birthday/overtime money on manga. Luckily, I was able to finish a few series' because of it. I've finished Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne(just waiting on them to get here), Bring it On (technically a manhwa but you get the idea), and Tenshi Ja Nai.  I got more of Hana Kimi and Hana Yori Dango(those will take forever).  Started Love*Com which is a good one.  Crossroads I could've finished if I wanted to spend even more money. Caught up on Beauty Pop, High School Debut, and Platinum Garden.  And I decided to start Cy-believers since the Manga-ka also wrote Crossroads. And I started one I'm not sure I'll be able to finish called Full House(manhwa again).  CPM is the one who translates it, and I can't find volumes 5 and 6. There's still more after that. If anyone knows where to find that one I'd love you forever if you told me^^;.

As far as anime is concerned, I've been watching Amatsuki, Special A, trying to finish off ones that I started awhile ago, and finishing the Love*Com anime.  I've gotten addicted to more Japanese bands. Yes, some of them happen to be Johnny's Entertainment, but I also like the JRock and other Jpop people. And I've found out I've got a thing for Asian guys and guitars, so yeah........I won't admit that again so don't ask :P .

And now for the dramas, I've finished Corner with Love. That's a really good one. Finished Prince who turns into a Frog.  Loved that one too. Umm Da Ren Wu is finished being subbed, I'm on 28 of 31. How they came up with 31 episodes I'll never know. Absolute Boyfriend is getting really good.  I'm watching something called So I'm Not Handsome. It's amusing and balances out all the drama filled ones I've been watching. Fated to Love You, which is kicking butt on ratings, is another great one. Episode 12 i think was extremely depressing though. I've also watched the first episode of something called The Seventh Day. It's good so far, but I'm waiting on more subs. They made a drama for the anime Hanbun no Tsuki. That one gets a bit on the bittersweet side just to warn you. I think that's all I've got going at the moment, but I might've missed something. Oh wait, there's one that the subbers are kinda stalled on called Taming of the Shrew. I'm really enjoying it, and I hope they can get the next one out soon.

So yeah, any suggestions for anime/manga/dramas would be great^_^. As if I'm not spending enough of manga and stuff :P . Luckily, I'm pretty good at keeping stories straight, so I can watch however many I want at the same time.

Oh and I found a great podcast for the Zutara/Avatar fans out there, it's called the Opinions of Zoe and Luna.  They do a great job, and they aren't as well known as TZO.

So yeah, I think you guys are all caught up on the random happenings...well except for this really rude guy today, but yeah. Love you guys^_^. Hope everyone's Father's Day and/or weekend went ok. Summer officially begins next weekend. Maybe I'll actually be able to go swimming this year. I'll get to my fanfic as soon as I finish my 3rd assignment^^;;. My second one went really well by the way. But yeah love you guys, and have a great week...I'll probably be working :P .

And I'm back :P

Ah LJ, you come up with weird questions.  What animal frightens me huh? Well I will admit to not wanting to be around spiders and snakes all that much, but I think all animals are beautiful and I don't really think they frighten me.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I'll start right away with the TZA dictionary entry. This one is actually a phrase coined by my dear friend Taiyo. See? I didn't forget my internet little sister^_^.

"I guess they never had to ship fanon"---the response to anyone who tries to insult a fanon ship just because it's different or non-canon. Let's try to learn to be nice guys, please^^;;

So yes, Nick's advertising companies are about as educated as a three year old I suppose. They seem to have no idea what they're doing. I mean what idiot spoils an ending two months before the episodes air in the form of a crappy COMIC BOOK?! I mean my four year old nephew could do better than that.  Ah well, these are the same people who decided to release the third volume with episodes that haven't even aired yet. Why not kill the ending for a lot of people? Go right ahead :P.

Anyway, if you guys like drama movies, I recently saw one called August Rush. It was a great movie, and the music in it was amazing. They had scenes where they mixed classical orchestra music with soft rock.  It came out beautifully.  The ending wasn't exactly how I would've done it, but it was still good.  If you like that type of movie, I'd definitely recommend it.

I've been watching a new anime or two.  Amatsuki is pretty good, and I love the SA manga, so it's quite obvious I'll watch that anime.  A few more dramas have made it on to my watch list.  I'm on episode four of Corner with Love. It's good, and I love the music.  Hello! Miss is okay. It could be better.  I've been watching Da Ren Wu and My Bratty Princess. Both period dramas, which I wouldn't normally watch, but I gave these two a chance. I'm glad I did. They're both great. I've also been watching one called Taming of the Shrew which really needs a new episode subbed. I'll just be patient though. JEM is a really good subber, so I'll wait for them.

Ohhh and if you haven't seen Forbidden Kingdom, get some money now and get your rears to the movie theater.  That was a great movie. Not only did it have a great, if slightly cliche, story, the action and scenery was beautiful. The actors did a really good job as well.  And you get to see Jet Li and Jackie Chan fight. If you like action movies, that actually have a plot, go and watch it.............NOW. Seriously, stop reading this and go :P .

Now, I've finally turned in my second assignment for my writing class. I'm seriously nervous about it.  It's the first story that's completely my own with my own characters and everything that I've let someone besides my English teachers look at, and it happens to be a professional author looking it over and giving me advice. I hope I did well, and I'll tell you guys how it goes.

Anyway, this dog is staring at me again.  Why she comes and bugs me to walk her when her owner is right across a very small "hallway" I'll never know.  Maybe I shouldn't walk her every time she asks or let her get away with so much.  Oh well, have a great weekend guys, and stay safe.  Hope everyone who's taken finals already did well, and for those who still have a bit left in the school year, hang in there it's almost over^_^. Love ya guys.

Writing classes and buying anime

  • Mar. 18th, 2008 at 12:58 AM

Heya^_^. So yeah I've had an interesting year so far. Well not really interesting, but at least it wasn't boring. I've started taking an online writing class. It's been fun so far, and I actually finished a nonfiction book. Scary, I know. I'm really looking forward to my next assignment. I get to create a story instead of just describing a character. It's going to take me a bit to come up with something good, but we'll see how it goes. I'm nervously excited considering my first assignment should've gotten there today. Hopefully it'll help me improve my writing.  And now I've decided to brush up on my Japanese and German, and I want to learn more languages. I'm weird and actually like learning as many as I can. My sister thinks I'm crazy.

No new anime to talk about really. I will say that I think more people should buy anime to support the industry. If you go to Anime News Network, it'll tell you that some distributors are in trouble. Hopefully they'll bounce back. When I actually have money I can spend, there's a few series' that I want to buy and a couple that I need to finish. I refuse to watch something online if it's licensed for the US. I do get it through Netflix, but if I really like it, I plan on buying it when I can.

Now, For the TZA dictionary entry of the day...let's see I think this one's next.

Endurance-holding out for more than half a season until Aang and Toph realize they're friends. Sticking it through even if the odds don't look good. Now that they've realized they're friends again, the second definition seems to fit more.

And that brings an end to my newest entry in my not-so-interesting life. Hope you guys didn't get too bored^_^. Have a great week and Easter. Don't eat too much candy. Although, I can't really talk. I'm looking forward to the After-Easter Candy sale. Lots of chocolate^_^.

My Ranty Mood's make me ramble^^;;

  • Jan. 25th, 2008 at 7:52 PM

Hey guys^_^. How are we today? I've had a long week I'll tell ya that much. Currently we've got a freeze warning where I am. It's so cold right now. I'm glad I'm inside^^;;. Okay so I'm gonna start out with the TZA dictionary. Today's word(s) come from a Distant Horizons member, Skye if I remember right.

Avatar Promised Land-When Avatar Fans have the relief of finally having new episodes after a long drought. Sadly, in America at least, we've got no idea when the next phase of this will be. Let's hope it doesn't take too long this time. I don't think any of us could handle another year long hiatus. That was torture I tell ya....torture.

Now, I'm in a ranty mood today, so forgive me if I switch topics at the drop of a hat :P. I've discovered recently a very interesting piece of information. For me anyway. While thinking of all the characters in Avatar, I've realized something. Every character has a name or title except one very important one. I'm sure some of you might know already. See there's this one character that has affected tons of the characters in the show. I mean a whole tribe was affected by them. They were the parent of two of the main characters. And the spouse of one of the recurring supporting characters. You think with the influence this character has had on so many of the characters in the show you'd think they'd at least have a name given, right? I mean this character has helped shape who two of the main characters are. In case you haven't figured it out already, it's Katara and Sokka's mother. She's only ever called "Mom" and that's by Katara and Sokka. You'd think Hakoda, her husband, would actually mention the lady at some point in time. It's annoying I admit.

So, I've decided there's only one thing that would make me completely disappointed in the show...instead of partially disappointed like I am with the pairings. And that would be if this lady doesn't get a BLOODY NAME ALREADY(I have a friend who lived in England for a while, so sue me :P ). I mean it's not exactly that hard to give a character a name. And this character unlike some others is very deserving in at least a name. I mean she gets killed off before she's even introduced.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest :P , the dog's gonna need a walk soon apparently but anyway. I've been watching Full Metal Panic finally recently. It's really good and I recommend it to anyone who can put up with Mecha. I've gotten Netflix recently, so I've been taking advantage of it and my queue has reached...well....over 400...yes I'll be embarrassed now...........................okay I'm done. If anyone has suggestions on movies or anime that might be on Netflix I'll be happy to hear them.

Anyway, I suppose I'll give that dog a walk even though she's technically my roommate's dog. So I hope everyone has a great weekend. Happy New Year. Love you guys^_^.

And no it's not in order.

Well now...it's been awhile since I've been here.  LJ gave me some suggestion about horoscopes for writer's block. I talk about that stuff ALL the time with my brother though. He's really into it. I'm a Gemini and an Ox. There's some more horoscopes, but I can't remember them off the top of my head^^;;

Now, there's a promise I gotta fulfill to a friend named Taiyo.  Told her I'd do a Taang/Zutara/Avatar dictionary type thing.  You'll see what I mean^_^. Anyway...Taang word of the day.

Interaction AKA Toph and Aang remember they're friends and speak more than two words to each other.  Season three happens to be filled with this, which makes this little Taang supporter happy.

And there ya have it...the first entry into the TZA dictionary^_^. If you have any words you'd like to include, feel free to suggest them.

Now I'll rant about annoying customers^_^.  Man some people can be so rude. Yesterday(on Sunday no less), I got called a "stupid b****" because extra cheese is 25 cents.  I just don't get it. If you don't want to pay a little extra, DON'T GET THE EXTRA CHEESE!! Is it really that hard of a concept to grasp :P ? And you really shouldn't be rude to people who are makin' your food ya know? It just makes the people making your food go that much slower and makes you wait a little bit longer than necessary^^;;. I suppose I should tell you guys the most irritating things you could do...basically the easiest ways to get the people to dislike you.

One, talking on cell phones while ordering food(and completely ignoring the person taking said order) is one of the most irritating things you could possibly do. Especially if there are people behind you waiting. It slows down the process and makes you look extremely rude.

Two, pay attention to what the person is asking you. It kinda makes you look a bit like an idiot if you yell how you don't want it toasted when someone's asking what veggies you'd like on it^^;;.

Three, try to not talk to people in line if you can help it. It's basically like the cell phone bit.  It slows down the process. Granted, it's not as irritating as a cell phone, but it's not exactly nice either :P .

Four, if you tell the server to "hold on a minute", especially with an attitude, they will most likely move on to the next person. Being mad at the server for this, again, just makes you come off as a not so nice person.

Well there's more than that, but I suppose are the most irritating ones. Granted, some are only irritating to a certain degree. So now that you have this information, you can either use it to get the servers to like you............or completely despise you^^;;. I'm hoping it gets ya wanting to be on their good side^^;;. Now, that rants over, I'll move on.

How many of you go stress shopping? I've been doing that a lot recently^^;;. I don't like clothes shopping much though so i usually buy movies, CDs, manga, anime...basically anything like that. From the stress that I've had recently I've bought...let's see

Labyrinth(movie and soundtrack), Goo Goo Dolls CD, Look Who's Talking/Now, Dark Crystal, Pride and Prejudice, Laws of Attraction, 6 or 7 volumes of the Rurouni Kenshin anime, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne Vol. 1, Fool's Gold Vol. 2,

As you can see...it's killing my budget^^;;. At least it's not a bad stress reliever like some things right^^;;. Anyway, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I had a pretty good on...till the weekend :P . And now I'm gonna go work on deciding when to type some more oneshots. Have a great week^_^.

Why I like Zutara...the short version^^;;

  • Aug. 29th, 2007 at 2:57 PM

Now I will answer my least favorite question ever asked of me on the forums I go to. Why do I like Zutara. I'll begin by saying that I'm sorry if my opinion offends someone. It is, however, my own opinion, so I won't apologize for what my opinion is. Just that I apologize if it offends. And I know not everyone will agree with me. That's perfectly alright. I won't say anyone else is right or wrong because they have their own opinions. Now that we've gotten that out of the way...

I'd like to give my answer to some of those myths about Zutara fans out there.

First, I do not hate Aang. I actually like the kid more than Sokka. I don't want that to get out much though^^;;. Anyway, I like Aang, and I do want him to be happy.

Second, I don't hate Mai. The only problem I have with Mai at all is that I don't like that she was willing to give up her little brother.  That's partly because I am an overprotective sister.

Third, I don't hate Song. I'd like to thank the Soko fans of DH for that one. I didn't hate her to begin with. She just didn't interest me at all. I've gotten a small liking for Soko recently...which is kinda hard to explain really...

I don't hate Jin just because she kissed Zuko. I don't really like her character since I didn't really like her backstory, and her personality was a little boring for me.

I am not a teenaged Zuko fangirl. I happen to be 22 years old, and I don't even find idiot boy cute. I don't like a pairing just because I want to put myself in said characters position. I'd probably end up with a nice, big headache. Zuko is my favorite character though, but that's because I enjoy his backstory more and I like being able to say when my favorite character did something stupid. It shows flaws, and I don't like "perfect characters".

And I DO NOT spite ship Taang. I like the ship in its own right. I understood what Toph's character was like right away, so I knew I would like the ship right away. I don't agree with any spite shipping. I will only ship something if I happen to like it.

Well, now that we've gotten most of the myths I've heard out of the way, what do ya say we get started?

I find the story (well stories) that Zutara could be as more interesting for me. They would have to work for it and want to keep it for it to work. I always like the stories where the love interests don't like each other at first. I don't think these two hate each other. They just happen to be on opposing sides. Zuko and Katara also have a lot in common. Katara reminds me of the way they showed Zuko when he was 14. Especially when she tried to rally those earthbenders in the episode "Imprisoned".  They may seem like complete opposites, but deep down they are alot alike. They are both stubborn and have tempers, yes. But they also both have a side to them that won't let the little guy get picked on. Zuko tries to hide his though since it's not something his dad wants. Katara shows hers too often sometimes. They're both very loving people if you don't get on Katara's bad side or if you stop trying to get past Zuko's shell around his goodness. I think characters like these two would go well together.

They already can bring out the worst in each other, but with the cave scene in CoD it's quite obvious they can also bring out the best in each other. This is something that I think love is about. Being able to bring out the good, yes, but also bringing out the bad too. It's about seeing all sides to a person and still loving them. Granted, they both need to get over themselves for this to work, but I think if they could then they'd be a great couple. One of those ones that lasts a lifetime. It would be a story I think would be interesting to see.

These two being together would not only show great character development on both their parts, Zuko finally realizing he doesn't have to hide his true self and Katara realizing that not all Fire Nation people are bad, things like that, but it would also make a great statement to the rest of the world too. They would show that love knows no bounds. You can't help who you fall in love with. I just love stories that can do that. Call me a hopeless romantic, I don't care...it's actually quite true^^;;.

I think Katara and Zuko stand on equal footing. If they can get past the fact that right now they are supposed to be enemies they could respect each other, which is also important. They already respect each other's abilities in bending. I think it would be great if they could learn to respect each other as people. And I'm hoping they do before the end of this season.

Since this is getting long(and a dog next to me is making my arm pretty uncomfortable^^;; ), I'll wrap this up. I don't care if Zutara becomes canon. I would love it, but it's not my story to tell. In the show, I'd love it if they could at least become friends. Besides, I've got fanfics I can read if I want them to be together. Canon, as I've said, is the writer's opinion. I don't have to agree with that opinion to like the show and be a fan of it. I'm actually hoping for an open-ending for relationships. I personally think that would make the best story as far as canon is concerned. I don't know why. It's just the way I think of how I would end the show. Like I said that might not agree with the writers, but we can't all think alike now can we?

Anyway, I still have more that I could say, but that's it for now. If you have any myths I can respond to, please feel free to tell me. That and if you can think of anything I forgot to mention please tell me. Right now, I can't think though. Doggy and possible thunderstorm. So I'll just wish everyone a great day^_^

Anime

Ok now I shall do like I promised and ramble on about anime^_^....for at least the first part of the entry^^;;.

First off, there's Naruto Shippuden. I haven't caught up on it but so far it's pretty good. I'm waiting on that new character to show up. Anyone who's read the manga after the timeskip probably knows who I mean. I've only gotten to episode...i think  13 or so. They're about to break in to that cave. Artwork's really good. I like the opening song. I'll have to catch up on that one soon though^^;;.

Zero no Tsukaima is another good one. I'm on episode 3 or 4 of the second season. I love the music. Story's great, and the characters are interesting. I'd recommend this one for people who like fantasy and magic.

Kaze no Stigma....well, some people don't like the female lead. I don't mind her all that much. She can be a bit loud, but it's better than wimpy, whiny characters in my opinion. I like the music. The story's really interesting. And it involves elements. For some strange reason, I usually like shows that involve elements...I'm weird I suppose.

Ok...now here's one someone found amusing. I started watching Prince of Tennis. Something I didn't think I'd enjoy. I actually like the anime. Granted, the moves that they use are more or less impossible most of the time, but it is interesting. And it got me to realize that I, strangely enough, enjoy playing tennis...go figure^^;;. I'm not very good, but I have fun playing it. I really like the songs used in it. And I like the characters...and Sakuno's crush on Ryouma is something I find adorable.(And the idiot boy so likes her back, but he won't admit it...thus the name "idiot boy").

Hmm what else have I watched...Ahh that's right. Wild Arms Twilight Venom-_-;;. I really liked the anime to start out with. The end kinda ruined it for me. I made it through the whole thing at least. I like the music, and I liked all but one of the characters. I refuse to acknowledge this character actually^^;;. The show was going great until some point...then it got...not so good. Then again, this is only my opinion, so please form your own^^;;.

La Cordo D'oro...very far behind on it, but I love the music. Shinkyouku Soukai Polyphonica...hmm...very episodic, but something to watch when you don't feel like thinking. Has good music too.

There's a few more I've been watching, but I either haven't made my mind up about them yet,...or they've completely slipped my mind at the moment^^;;. If you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me :) . I'll watch...almost anything. I don't really like stupid comedy like Azumanga Daioh though^^;;.

I've had a bit of a long week, so I suppose I should stop here. Next time I think I'll answer my least favorite question asked of the Zutara fans: "Why do you like Zutara?". I especially dislike this question when the phrase "How could you possibly like it?" is more or less implied. I'm sure the rest of the Zutara fans know what I mean.

Anyway, hope everyone has a great day^_^. I'll ramble some more soon.

Well I've been having a wonderful week(sarcasm). I get a weird schedule at work that leaves me completely unmotivated TO work. Found out someone abandoned a cat WITH NO CLAWS. My roommate took her to the vet. Not sure how it went yet. Slowly getting irritated with all the hate to shippers/maiko/zutara (mostly zutara).

BUT I did get a chance to post two new chapters recently. I'm very happy of my chapter 15, and I'm looking forward to chapter 16 because I get to write an action scene...which happens to be my weakness, but it'll be a challenge. I love challenges^_^. I'm really looking forward to getting that one up and posted, and I want to do a couple of oneshots that have been floating around in my head. I'm really looking forward to this one idea I have. Zuko fangirls are gonna kill me for it though^^;;.

I've been on the lovely forums a lot recently.  You wouldn't believe how much hate is still goin' around...ok you might but either way^^;;. Anyway, apparently speculating and saying you don't like something and giving your opinion on it is bashing. Granted, if you give your opinion in a mean way that's completely different, and it would be considered bashing. But if I see one more person say "Zutara's dead" or something bad about any ship I think I might get more than just irritated^^;;.  I get very opinionated and stubborn when I lose my patience, so please bear with me if that happens. I'll probably sound extremely childish, so just bash me in the head and call me stupid. Like I said before, and say numerous times, as long as there are people who like a ship, it's NOT dead...and it's NOT sunk. The only people who can decide that one are the fans of said ship.

I'm really looking forward to September 21st though.  It's only a little over a month away. Hopefully we won't kill each other before then.  I'm hoping at some point that Katara and Sokka's mother will be given a name.  I can't believe no one has asked that question before^^;;.

Anyway, I feel better after my little venting season. Hope everyone's having a nice day.  And I suppose I'll talk about anime next time because I've seen a few recently that are really good...like Naruto Shippuden, Kaze no Stigma, Zero no Tsukaima....okay you get the point.  Anyway have a nice day and play nice with the other ships^_^.
